Easy Basmati Rice

Mark Dexter
Basmati rice is a long-grain rice variety renowned for its aromatic fragrance and delicate, fluffy texture when cooked. Originating from the Indian subcontinent, particularly India and Pakistan, Basmati rice is cultivated in specific regions known for their fertile soil and optimal climate conditions. Its name, "Basmati," translates to "fragrant" in Hindi, emphasizing its distinctive aroma that resembles the scent of popcorn or jasmine.
